Yoga a secret mantra for success and happiness.

Read on to know why?

Patanjali, the father of Yoga, had divided Yoga into eight fundamental pillars: Yam, Niyama, Asanas, Pranayama, Pratyahara, Dharna, Dhyaana, Samadhi.

The 8 Pillars of Yoga

All these Sanskrit words represent aspects with a very deep meaning, and can be interpreted in multiple ways. Their meaning would change in the context of your situation and circumstances.

However I have tried to simplify their meaning, to help everyone understand easily(refer image). One who strives to control his mind- which is otherwise is like a raging bull- must follow all eight pillars with determination. A control on your mind, gives you immense energy to thrive and attain success.

Imagine you wish to get success by achieving a goal. Be it earning money or losing weight.

Here is how you would do it.

First you need to follow a specific set of behaviours; example setting a Routine. You need to be disciplined in your lifestyle. You should Exercise regularly to maintain a healthy body, also do breathing exercises to build a habit of breathing deep. Control your diet by making the right choices to lead a healthy life. Adopt a positive mindset.

Meditate regularly. Meditation allows you to dive into the ocean of your thoughts and makes you think deeply. In that deep state of mediation, all the problems can be dissected and solved. You break the problem down into many pieces and get all the answers. Eventually you can address every question which arises.

Regular Meditation leads to immense clarity in one’s life and changes your perspective. It allows you to see your life as an observer. This perspective enlightens you and you find the sense of purpose. Clarity of purpose unlocks a hidden energy within you, which is bound to make you strive and achieve success!

Thats’ the power of Yoga!
